Menu Import
Upload a PDF of your menu and Vozko extracts everything automatically using AI. Supports both text-based PDFs and scanned menus (via OCR).
How it works
- Upload your PDF menu file in the Menu section
- AI parses the document and extracts item names, prices, descriptions, and ingredients
- For scanned menus, Google Vision OCR reads the text first, then AI structures it
- Review and approve the imported items, or edit as needed
- Items are saved with vector embeddings for semantic search by the AI voice agent
Menu Categories
Organize your menu items into categories like Appetizers, Entrees, Desserts, Drinks, and more. Categories help guests browse your menu and help the AI answer questions contextually.
Managing categories
- Create, rename, reorder, and delete categories
- Assign menu items to categories during or after import
- Categories appear in order on the widget and in AI responses
Modifiers & Options
Add modifier groups to menu items — sides, sauces, doneness levels, size options, and more. Each modifier can have its own price adjustment.
Example
A "Burger" item might have a "Side" modifier group (fries +$0, salad +$2, onion rings +$3) with min 1, max 1 selections, and a "Doneness" group (rare, medium, well-done) with min 1, max 1 selections.
Dietary Labels
Tag menu items with dietary labels to help guests with restrictions find suitable options. Labels include: Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Keto, Nut-Free, Dairy-Free, and more.
The AI uses these labels to answer questions like "What gluten-free options do you have?" or "Do you have vegan desserts?"
AI Descriptions
Auto-generate enticing dish descriptions with AI. The AI creates descriptions based on the item name, ingredients, and preparation notes. You can regenerate descriptions with a single click if you don't like the first version.
Menu Photos
Upload photos for each menu item. Photos appear in the guest-facing widget and on the dashboard. High-quality photos increase order likelihood and enhance the guest experience.
